Lead411 alternatives

6 Best Lead411 Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Six data tools for teams that pull people and company records through an API, an agent or at volume, ranked by fit, with list prices and the cost of 1M records a month.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

People leave Lead411 when a rep database has to act as a data source for code. Spark is $49 a month for 1,000 exports, and API access is listed from Ignite at $150 a month (Lead411 pricing, September 2026). Unlimited data and buyer intent sit on annual subscriptions. The MCP server is restricted to approved accounts and returns a 401 until support enables it (Lead411 API docs, September 2026). Coverage is 13 countries (Lead411 FAQ, September 2026).

That suits a rep who picks contacts in the app. It is a poor fit for a pipeline that pulls millions of records, or an agent that needs to search on its own.

This page ranks six alternatives for API and volume buyers. LeadOcean is first because it has one flat price and an MCP server on every plan. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs Lead411.

"1M records" here means 1M people records pulled through the API, one credit each where the vendor charges one. Coresignal uses Base records at 10 credits, so its cell is not an email cost. Figures are list-price arithmetic. Enterprise quotes differ, so ask each vendor at your volume.

What we evaluated

  • API access: which plan opens it, the endpoints that return people and companies, and the default rate limit.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, and who is allowed to use it.
  • Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
  • Data: stated coverage, email and phone fields, and search filters.
  • Limits that bite: export caps, plan gates, expiring credits and fair-use clauses.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters, across 254 country values. Counts are free.

The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits, no export cap in the plan and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off. More headroom is one email to support.

The free count is the part an agent uses most. A search with count set to true and limit set to 1 returns meta.total and costs nothing.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jobLevel":["VP"],"jobFunction":["Sales & Business Development"],"country":["CA"],"limit":1}'

On 2026-09-30 the count_leads tool, which counts mailable emails by default, returned 5,066 for those filters. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads. Exports run up to 50,000 rows per request, from the API or the app's Exports page.

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter and no export cap in the plan.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free. No approval step.
  • Email status on every record, with 13 values from verified to spam_trap.
  • Free counts, and a miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404.

Cons

  • No buyer intent data and no hiring or funding alerts. Funding type is a filter, not a feed.
  • No Chrome extension, rep workspace or CRM sync. You work in the app's export page, the API or MCP.
  • One dataset, so a niche source needs another tool.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. Coresignal: best for large credit pulls of profiles, companies and jobs

coresignal homepage

Coresignal is a professional-data provider that sells employee, company and job records through APIs and datasets. Its homepage lists 907M+ employee profiles, 70M+ companies and 482M+ job postings (Coresignal, September 2026). Job postings are its strongest line, at 1 credit each.

The price is credits, and it falls per record as you climb the plans. A Base employee or company record costs 10 credits, a multi-source record 20, a job posting 1 and a contact enrichment 20 (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Pro is $499 for 35,000 credits. Elite is $5,000 for 10,000,000 credits, or $0.0005 a credit (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

Limits scale with the plan too. The Data API allows 5 requests per second on entry plans and 100 or more on Elite (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Bulk Collect stops at 10,000 records per request (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The MCP server uses OAuth 2.1 and exposes 5 tools, and entity_search costs 20 credits a call (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • 482M+ job postings at 1 credit each.
  • Elite brings the credit price to $0.0005, so 1M Base records is about $5,000.
  • Hosted MCP server with OAuth 2.1, plus flat-file datasets from $1,000 a month.

Cons

  • Multi-source employee records carry professional emails and a 4-value email status (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The Base Employee API lists no email field, and neither dictionary has a phone field.
  • The $499 plan buys 35,000 credits, which is 3,500 Base records.
  • Every MCP search costs 20 credits, so an agent pays to explore.

Best for: teams that need job postings, raw profile volume or licensed datasets and can budget credits.

Pricing: Mini $49, Starter $199, Pro $499, Growth $1,000, Premium $1,500, Scale $3,000 and Elite $5,000 a month (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

3. Crustdata: best for live company and people data in agents

crustdata homepage

Crustdata sells real-time company and people data through APIs for search, enrichment, jobs, posts and watchers. It lists 1 billion+ people and describes its data as continuously re-verified (Crustdata, September 2026). It fits signal-driven work, such as hiring spikes and funding events, better than bulk list building.

Pricing is credit based and the public page shows no dollar price per credit (Crustdata pricing, September 2026). The docs list costs per call. Person search is 0.03 credits per result, and person enrichment is 1 to 7 credits (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The lowest tier is from $95 a month, reported by a Crustdata blog post (Crustdata blog, September 2026). The pricing page lists no plans or prices.

Volume is the catch. Person enrichment defaults to 15 requests a minute and person search to 30 (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The contact endpoint needs an enterprise plan, and self-serve keys get a 403 (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The MCP server at install.crustdata.com/mcp signs in with OAuth or an API key (Crustdata docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Live data and change watchers that a static database lacks.
  • Cheap search at 0.03 credits per result, so you narrow before you enrich.
  • MCP server that returns company, people and job data.

Cons

  • No public price per credit, so you cannot price 1M records from the site.
  • Low default rate limits on search and enrichment.
  • Contact data sits behind an enterprise plan, and purchased credits expire after 12 months (Crustdata docs, September 2026).

Best for: AI SDR and signal workflows that need fresh data more than raw volume.

Pricing: Credit based, with no public dollar price per credit. Per-call credit costs are in the docs (Crustdata docs, September 2026).

4. People Data Labs: best for data licences and per-match enrichment

people-data-labs homepage

People Data Labs (PDL) is a long-running person and company data API with bulk licences. Its All dataset holds 2.47 billion profiles, with 592 million carrying an email (PDL docs, September 2026). It charges per match: a request that returns a person costs one credit, and a miss costs none.

The entry price is high per record. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, which is $0.28 each (PDL pricing, September 2026). The Free plan gives up to 100 records a month with contact data hidden. Above about 100,000 profiles a year it is Enterprise and sales only, so there is no public 1M price (PDL docs, September 2026).

Enrichment allows 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans (PDL docs, September 2026). Person Search defaults to 10 a minute (PDL docs, September 2026). We found no official MCP server in PDL's docs index (PDL docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A fast enrichment API with a stated 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans.
  • Annual data licences delivered to S3, GCP or Azure for your own warehouse (PDL docs, September 2026).
  • ISO and SOC 2 Type 2 shown on the pricing page.

Cons

  • $0.28 a record at the entry rate, so volume needs a sales call.
  • Contact data is hidden on the Free plan, so you cannot test what you will pay for.
  • No official MCP server found, so agents need a wrapper you host.

Best for: teams that license data or need compliance paperwork and accept per-record pricing.

Pricing: Free up to 100 records a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits. Enterprise custom (PDL pricing, September 2026).

5. Apollo: best for reps who want a database, extension and sequencer

apollo homepage

Apollo is the closest swap for the Lead411 app itself. It lists 240M contacts and 30M companies, sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension on every plan (Apollo pricing, September 2026). It ranks fifth here because the pricing is built around seats, not volume.

Basic is $49 per seat a month with 30,000 credits a year. Professional is $79 with 48,000. Organization is $119 with 72,000 and a three-seat minimum, all billed annually (Apollo pricing, September 2026). An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8. Unused credits expire each cycle.

For code, the limits are workable, and the API is on every plan, including Free. General endpoints allow 200 requests a minute on Basic and Professional, and enrichment allows 1,000 a minute on paid plans (Apollo docs, September 2026). The MCP server works on any plan, including Free (Apollo MCP, September 2026). Apollo also says its plans are for internal business use only.

Pros

  • Database, sequences, dialer and Chrome extension in one workspace.
  • MCP server on every plan, with OAuth sign-in.
  • Intent topics and job change enrichment on paid plans, so it can replace Lead411's signals.

Cons

  • Seats and credits both scale your bill, and credits expire each cycle.
  • Record selection caps of 25, 1,000, 2,500 and 10,000 by plan.
  • Internal use only, so you cannot build a product on it.

Best for: sales reps who prospect and send from one workspace.

Pricing: Free. Basic $49, Professional $79, Organization $119 per seat a month, billed annually (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

6. ZoomInfo: best for intent data, org charts and a full suite

ZoomInfo is the enterprise suite that Lead411 is usually compared with. It sells intent data, org charts, and phone and email contacts, and its platform plans are quoted by sales. Vendr reports a median of $33,500 a year across 1,574 purchases (Vendr, updated February 2026).

For code and agents, ZoomInfo now sells GTM.AI. It is an API, MCP server and CLI on pay-as-you-go credits with no contract and no seat fees. The free tier gives 1,000 data credits, and a data credit falls from $0.38 at the $1,000 tier to $0.25 at 100,000 credits for $25,000, where the slider stops. Search, lookup and find similar are free (GTM.AI pricing, September 2026).

The catch is the meter and the gate. One credit covers one company, contact or intent record enriched or exported. The free tier allows 5 requests per second, and higher limits are an Enterprise feature. GTM.AI says it charges once per record per 12 months, which helps when you re-pull the same accounts.

Pros

  • Intent data and org charts that LeadOcean, Coresignal and PDL do not sell.
  • Self-serve API, MCP and CLI with a free start and no card.
  • Security certifications listed, including SOC 2 Type II (VentureBeat, June 2026).

Cons

  • No public price at 1M. The slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000, and beyond that you need an Enterprise quote.
  • Free tier audiences are 5 by 500 rows, and rate limits are 5 per second.
  • Platform plans are annual and quoted by sales.

Best for: teams that sell on buyer intent and org charts and have the budget for a suite.

Pricing: GTM.AI credits from $20, data credits from $0.45 down to $0.25 at 100,000 credits. Platform plans by quote (GTM.AI pricing, September 2026).

Apollo is 400 Basic seats at $49 on yearly billing, or 250 Professional seats at $99 on monthly billing. PDL and ZoomInfo have no public price at 1M. Coresignal uses the Elite credit price on Base records.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You buy profile and job data by the million credits: Coresignal Elite, at $0.0005 a credit.
  • You need fresh signals and company events: Crustdata, with a rate-limit conversation first.
  • You need compliance paperwork or a licensed dataset: People Data Labs.
  • Your reps live in an app with a Chrome extension: Apollo, or stay on Lead411 Spark at $49.
  • You sell on buyer intent and org charts: ZoomInfo. Lead411's Bombora intent is the nearest thing on the other side.
  • You need technographic data on its own: see Wappalyzer alternatives.
  • Your workflow starts from LinkedIn in the browser: see Surfe alternatives.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It has a flat price, emails and phones in one plan, and an MCP server that any account can use on day one. Coresignal is the runner-up if you want credits at volume and job postings. Crustdata wins for live signals and PDL for licensed datasets. Apollo wins for reps who want an app and a sequencer, and ZoomInfo for intent and org charts. Stay on Lead411 if you work in its app and use its intent data on a small plan. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do teams leave Lead411?

Plan gates and shape. Lead411 sells export-capped plans, lists API access from Ignite, and puts unlimited data and intent on annual subscriptions (Lead411 pricing, September 2026). Teams that use it as a data source often move to an API.

What does Lead411 cost?

Spark is $49 a month for 1,000 exports, and Ignite starts at $150 a month for 1,000+ exports. The Blaze plan includes unlimited data access and is priced by quote. A 7-day trial includes 50 exports (Lead411 pricing, September 2026).

Does Lead411 have an API or an MCP server?

Both. The API takes an X-API-KEY header. MCP access is permission based and must be enabled on your account, or requests return a 401 (Lead411 API docs, September 2026).

What is the cheapest Lead411 alternative at 1M records a month?

LeadOcean at $499 flat is cheapest on list price. Coresignal is next at about $5,000 on Elite, for 1M Base records rather than emails. Apollo costs far more at list. PDL and ZoomInfo publish no price at 1M, and enterprise quotes narrow the gap.

Which Lead411 alternative has buyer intent data?

ZoomInfo and Apollo both sell intent. Lead411's own intent comes from Bombora (Lead411 pricing, September 2026). LeadOcean has no intent data, so pair it with a signal source if you need one.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
