Verdict

  • Pick BlitzAPI if you feed LinkedIn profile URLs into code and want verified work emails at a flat price. Plus is $499 a month for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, which covers 1M records. Snov.io has no public 1M price.
  • Pick Snov.io if you need under about 20,000 emails a month, want sequences, warm-up and a CRM in one login, or want an MCP server that returns records. Starter is $39 a month.
  • Pick neither if you want one flat price with no credits and no tiers, phones outside the US on the same plan, and a CSV export from the API. BlitzAPI phones are US only and sit on its $599 tier. Snov.io phones cost extra tokens. LeadOcean is one option.

Data and coverage

The two sizes are not like for like. BlitzAPI counts profiles. Snov.io counts verified contacts, and it gives two different figures for them.

BlitzAPI lists 550M+ profiles, 65M+ companies and 65M+ verified work emails (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Its email lookup starts from a LinkedIn profile URL. If it cannot prove an address, it returns found: false and no email.

Snov.io's lead finder page claims 500M+ verified contacts and 60M+ companies (Snov.io, September 2026). Its Database Search guide says 50M+ prospects (Snov.io help, September 2026). We cannot tell you which number the search tool queries.

Phones split them. BlitzAPI holds 45M+ US numbers on the $599 Full plan, and the free trial excludes phone endpoints (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Snov.io publishes no phone count. You pick a provider per search: Wiza at 10 tokens or Zeliq at 22 tokens per number found (Snov.io help, September 2026).

BlitzAPI also lists 100M+ job postings, and Snov.io publishes no job-posting data. If a hiring trigger drives your outbound, that gap decides it.

Snov.io's edge is what happens after the lookup. It verifies the address with a 7-tier verifier and holds the prospect in a list you can send to (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). BlitzAPI returns data and stops there.

API and developer experience

Both are REST APIs, but they feel different. BlitzAPI answers in the same request. Snov.io starts a task and you collect the result.

BlitzAPI's Find Work Email takes a LinkedIn profile URL. It returns found, the verified email, an all_emails array and a fair_usage block with your records used and the rate limit (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.blitz-api.ai/v2/enrichment/email" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "x-api-key: $BLITZAPI_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"person_linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"}'

Snov.io first needs a bearer token. You post your client credentials to https://api.snov.io/v1/oauth/access_token, and the token lasts 3,600 seconds. Then you start a search with a name and a domain, up to 10 rows a request (Snov.io API docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.snov.io/v2/emails-by-domain-by-name/start" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SNOV_ACCESS_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"rows":[{"first_name":"Jane","last_name":"Doe","domain":"acme.com"}]}'

The reply carries a task_hash. You call GET /v2/emails-by-domain-by-name/result with it, or pass a webhook_url to receive the answer. A hit costs 1 credit for a valid or unknown email.

Rate limits are the sharpest gap. BlitzAPI runs at 50 requests per second per endpoint for accounts opened by September 30. The standard rate is 5, and the limit applies per endpoint (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Snov.io allows 60 requests a minute across the whole API, which is 1 a second.

Search depth differs too. BlitzAPI Find People returns 50 results a page and stops at 50,000 per query (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Snov.io's search returns up to 20 profiles a page (Snov.io API docs, September 2026).

For agents, Snov.io has the stronger server. Its remote MCP server connects your account to Claude, ChatGPT and others, and it covers prospect search, email verification, CRM data and LinkedIn actions (Snov.io MCP, September 2026). BlitzAPI's MCP server gives an AI tool live access to its documentation. It cannot search people or return a record (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

For bulk work, Snov.io lists unlimited export on paid plans. BlitzAPI documents no bulk or CSV export. Data comes through the JSON API with cursor pagination, and we did not check its signed-in app (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Pricing

BlitzAPI charges one fee a month, whatever you pull, but you must buy the plan with the data type you need. Snov.io charges per credit, so cost follows volume. Compare both as the cost of a found work email.

At 10,000 records a month

For BlitzAPI, 10,000 work emails need Plus, because Core has no verified emails. Plus is $499 a month, or $0.0499 an email if all 10,000 are found. Only results it returns count (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

For Snov.io, 10,000 emails is 10,000 credits. Pro S has 5,000, so you need the M plan: 20,000 credits for $189 a month, or $141.75 a month billed yearly (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). That is $189 / 10,000 = $0.0189 an email.

At this size Snov.io is cheaper: $499 - $189 = $310 a month. Snov.io's help page says unused credits roll over while the subscription stays active (Snov.io help, September 2026). Snov.io also charges a credit for an email with an unknown status, and phones cost extra tokens.

At 1M records a month

BlitzAPI at 1M is $499 a month at list. 1,000,000 results sit under the 15,000,000 results a month fair use line, so one Plus plan covers it: $499 x 1 month = $499 (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

Snov.io has no public 1M price. Its largest public plan is Ultra at $738 a month for 100,000 credits. Beyond that, Custom Ultra starts at 200,000 credits, by quote (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). We do not multiply a small-plan rate out to 1M and call it a quote. Ask Snov.io for a price at your volume.

Time matters at 1M too. On BlitzAPI, 1,000,000 / 50 per second is 20,000 seconds, about 5.6 hours. At 5 per second it is 200,000 seconds, about 2.3 days. On Snov.io, 10 rows a request means 100,000 start calls. At 60 a minute that is 1,667 minutes, about 28 hours, before any result calls.

One caution on BlitzAPI. The $499 price, the 50 requests per second and the 15,000,000 fair use line belong to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. After that date the plan terms are those on the website or order form at signup. The only published standard figure is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). BlitzAPI's paid plans carry no SLA (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Where BlitzAPI wins

  • A public price at volume. $499 for 1M work emails, against no public 1M price at Snov.io, for accounts opened by September 30.
  • Verified-only emails. An address it cannot prove comes back as not found.
  • LinkedIn URL in, email out. One input, one answer, no name matching.
  • Speed. 50 requests per second per endpoint on the offer, against 1 a second on Snov.io.
  • US phones and job postings. 45M+ numbers and 100M+ postings, which Snov.io does not publish.

BlitzAPI's weak points are US-only phones, no documented bulk export, an MCP server that only reads docs, and no public price for accounts opened after September 30.

Where Snov.io wins

  • Small and mid volume. Starter is $39 a month, and the M plan is $189 for 20,000 credits.
  • Outreach in the same product. Campaigns, warm-up, LinkedIn automation and a CRM sit next to the finder (Snov.io pricing, September 2026).
  • An MCP server that returns data. It works with Claude and ChatGPT today.
  • Export and verification built in. Unlimited export on paid plans, plus a 7-tier email verifier.
  • A plan ladder you can read. Every plan up to 100,000 credits has a public price, and none depends on an expired offer.

Snov.io's weak points are the credit math, a limit of 60 requests a minute, task-based calls, and no public price at 1M.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. It has a free plan with 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, no credits and no per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. The same REST API and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan, and the MCP server searches, enriches and exports records (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

Each key runs at 100 requests per second on every plan. For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, so 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It has no sequencer. See pricing for the detail.

FAQ

Which is cheaper, BlitzAPI or Snov.io?

It depends on volume. At 10,000 emails a month Snov.io is cheaper: $189 for the M plan against $499 for BlitzAPI Plus. At 1M, only BlitzAPI publishes a price: $499 a month at list, for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Snov.io quotes that volume.

Does BlitzAPI or Snov.io have an MCP server?

Both do. Snov.io's server at https://mcp.snov.io/mcp finds prospects, verifies emails and manages CRM data (Snov.io MCP, September 2026). BlitzAPI's server gives an AI tool access to its documentation, not to records (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Which has phone numbers?

BlitzAPI lists 45M+ numbers, US only, on the $599 Full plan. Snov.io publishes no phone count and charges 10 or 22 tokens per number found, depending on the provider. For a call list, run a sample through either tool before you buy.

Can I export a CSV from either?

Snov.io can: it lists unlimited export on paid plans (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). BlitzAPI documents no bulk or CSV export, though we did not check its signed-in app. Data comes through cursor pagination.

What happens to BlitzAPI pricing after September 30, 2026?

The offer closed to new accounts. The Terms say later plans carry the limits stated on the website or order form at signup. Only the standard 5 requests per second is published (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). Check the pricing page on the day you sign up.

Does Snov.io have an API on the free plan?

Not by default. Free accounts must book a demo to get test access, and the API is limited to 60 requests a minute (Snov.io API docs, September 2026). BlitzAPI gives every account 1,000 free credits with no card.
