6 Best Snov.io Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Six email finders and data APIs for teams that pull records in code, through an agent or at volume, ranked by fit, with list prices and the cost of 1M records a month.

People leave Snov.io when an email finder has to act like a data pipeline. The API is limited to 60 requests per minute, and Email Finder takes up to 10 names per request (Snov.io API docs, September 2026). That caps a pull at 600 lookups a minute, so 1M takes about 28 hours. Credits cost one per email found and expire every 30 days on monthly plans (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). Phones run on a second meter, enrichment tokens at $0.02 each. The Trial plan has no API access.

That suits a team that finds, verifies and sends from one app. It is a poor fit for code or an agent that pulls records at volume.

This page ranks six alternatives for API and volume buyers. LeadOcean is first because it has one flat price and an MCP server that returns records. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs Snov.io. For API-only options, read Snov.io API alternatives.

"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Figures are list prices. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so and names its top public tier. For comparison, Snov.io is $7,380 a month for 1M credits at Ultra's monthly rate of $738 per 100,000, or $5,535 billed yearly (Snov.io pricing, September 2026). Enterprise quotes may be lower, so ask each vendor at your volume.

What we evaluated

  • API access: which plan opens it, what a lookup takes as input, and the default rate limit.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
  • Data and limits: stated coverage, email and phone fields, and the caps that bite, such as plan ceilings and fair-use clauses.
  • Sending: whether the tool sends, pushes to a sender or is data only. Snov.io includes campaigns, warm-up, a CRM and LinkedIn automation.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters, and counts are free. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and exports run up to 50,000 rows per request.

The difference from Snov.io is where you start. Snov.io's Email Finder starts from a name and a domain you already hold. LeadOcean starts from the audience you want: filter by title, seniority, country, industry or funding, size the list for free, then pull it. The app also has an Exports page with a filter builder, a column picker and the record price before you start.

bash
curl -X POST https://api.leadocean.io/v1/exports \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "name": "CTOs in Germany",
"filters": { "title": ["CTO"], "country": ["DE"], "emailStatus": ["verified"] },
    "limit": 5000,
    "preset": "full"
  }'

The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. That is 100 times Snov.io's 60 requests per minute. There are no credits to expire and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off.

The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads. Snov.io's MCP server also finds prospects and emails. It adds campaigns, CRM and LinkedIn actions, all drawing on your plan. LeadOcean's is built to return records.

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter or expiry.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free. Snov.io's API needs a paid plan.
  • Email status on every record, from verified to spam_trap.
  • Free counts, and a miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404.

Cons

  • No sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension. You send from another tool.
  • No waterfall across other providers.
  • The v2 contact endpoints cost one record per call, even when they find nothing.
  • One dataset, so a niche source needs another tool.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. BlitzAPI: best for flat-price search and enrichment by API

BlitzAPI sells B2B data as an API on flat monthly plans. Its homepage lists people and company search, email and phone enrichment, jobs data and domain to LinkedIn matching, over 1B+ records (BlitzAPI, September 2026). It is the closest rival to LeadOcean on price model.

The plan ladder is where it gets fiddly. Core is $399 a month and leaves out emails and phones. Plus is $499 and adds verified work emails. Full is $599 and adds US phone numbers (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). If you enrich for contact data, you buy Plus or Full.

Two details matter if you are coming from Snov.io. The work-email endpoint takes a LinkedIn URL, not a name and a domain (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). And its MCP server gives an assistant the API documentation, not the data (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

The 50 requests per second are tied to accounts opened by September 30, 2026, against a standard 5. Limits for accounts opened later are not published, and limits also apply per endpoint (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Flat monthly price. The 15,000,000 results a month limit is a launch offer for accounts opened by September 30, 2026 (BlitzAPI terms, September 2026).
  • Jobs data and identity resolution sit next to people and company search.
  • A free trial of 1,000 credits with no card.

Cons

  • Three paid tiers, and phones need the top one.
  • Phone numbers are US only on Full.
  • The MCP server reads docs. An agent cannot search or enrich through it.
  • No sending, and no name and domain lookup on the email endpoint.

Best for: teams that want a flat-price search and enrichment API and run their own code.

Pricing: Core $399, Plus $499, Full $599 a month (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

3. LeadMagic: best for a low per-credit price on valid emails

LeadMagic is a credit-based enrichment API. It lists 400M+ people profiles and 25M+ companies, and reaches them through REST, CSV, a command-line tool and a hosted MCP server (LeadMagic, September 2026). Failed lookups cost nothing, the same rule Snov.io applies to Email Finder misses.

The credit price falls as you climb the plans. Essential is $99 a month for 5,000 credits. Growth is $249 for 20,000. Professional is $499 for 50,000, and Ultimate is $849 for 100,000, or $0.00849 a credit (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A valid email costs 1 credit and a mobile costs 5. Snov.io's Ultra rate is lower, at $0.00738 a credit.

Email Finder and Email Validation allow 600 requests a minute (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). LeadMagic also states that a sustained find rate below 10% can lead to throttling or suspension (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Bad input lists carry a real risk. The MCP server uses OAuth, and a free preview_cost call shows the price of a large job first (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A low per-credit list price for a finder with an API on every plan.
  • No charge when an email is not found.
  • Hosted MCP with a cost preview before large operations.

Cons

  • The top self-serve plan is 100,000 credits, so 1M a month needs an Enterprise quote.
  • A smaller stated database: 400M+ people profiles.
  • A minimum find-rate policy can throttle lists with poor match rates.

Best for: teams that enrich a few hundred thousand valid emails a month and want cheap credits.

Pricing: Essential $99, Growth $249, Professional $499, Ultimate $849 a month (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).

4. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API

FullEnrich queries 25+ sources for each contact and charges only for data it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Where Snov.io searches its own index, FullEnrich asks several vendors in turn. Its pricing page lists API access, people and company search and an MCP server on Pro.

Credits are the meter. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10. Search costs 0.25 credits per person returned (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits ($0.058 each). The 1,000-credit tier is $55 a month ($0.055 each), and the top public monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 ($0.035 each) (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). A mobile at the 1,000-credit tier costs $0.55. Above 100,000 credits, contact sales. The yearly toggle lists 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 billed yearly. Annual credits come with a 12-month rollover. FullEnrich does not say whether the full year arrives on day one (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026).

The API allows 60 calls a minute, the same number as Snov.io's, but a bulk request takes up to 100 contacts. Higher limits are an Enterprise feature (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The MCP server can search, enrich and export, and it signs you in through the browser (FullEnrich help, September 2026).

Pros

  • Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call can cover several vendors.
  • Bulk requests of 100 contacts, which is 10 times Snov.io's batch of 10.
  • Search, enrichment and export in the MCP server.
  • SOC 2 Type II listed on the pricing page.

Cons

  • Mobiles cost 10 credits each, so phone-heavy pulls get expensive fast.
  • A credit meter at volume. There is no public price at 1M work emails, and the top public tier is $3,500 a month for 100,000 credits.
  • No sending. You export to another tool.

Best for: teams that want waterfall contact data, mostly emails and mobiles, through an API or an agent.

Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits up to $3,500 for 100,000, then contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

5. Findymail: best for verified emails with a bounce guarantee

Findymail is the closest match to Snov.io's finder and verifier. It resolves an email, verifies it when you ask and returns only verified addresses. It bills one credit per email found and 10 per phone number (Findymail API docs, September 2026). A lookup that finds no verified email costs nothing.

Findymail's pricing page blocks automated reading, so no price is quoted here. See Findymail's pricing page for current plans. It advertises a bounce guarantee on that page.

For code, the API uses Bearer auth and allows 300 concurrent requests. Phone lookups return US numbers only, and lead search is a plain-language query capped at 5,000 companies, with no structured filters in the docs (Findymail API docs, September 2026). The official MCP server has 14 tools (Findymail Cursor plugin, September 2026).

Pros

  • Every email verified at lookup, and a bounce guarantee advertised on its pricing page.
  • Bearer auth and 300 concurrent requests, so a fast client needs little pacing.
  • Official MCP server with 14 tools.

Cons

  • No price is published here, so check its pricing page for your volume.
  • Phones are US only and cost 10 credits.
  • No structured search filters to segment by function or seniority.

Best for: outbound teams and agencies that want verified emails with a bounce guarantee.

Pricing: not published here. See Findymail's pricing page.

6. Hunter: best for domain-first finding with sequences attached

Hunter is the nearest like-for-like swap for Snov.io's finder and sender. It finds emails by domain or by name and domain, verifies them and sends sequences from connected inboxes. One credit buys one email found, and verifying an email costs half a credit (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

It ranks last for this buyer because the self-serve plans have a low ceiling. Starter is $34 a month billed yearly for 2,000 credits a month, and Scale is $209 a month billed yearly for 25,000. Monthly billing costs $49 and $299. Above Scale, 1,000,000 Search credits are sold on Data Platform (API and bulk only) for $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026). All members share one credit pool.

Hunter beats Snov.io on access. The API and the MCP server are on every plan, including Free (Hunter pricing, September 2026; Hunter MCP, September 2026). Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second and 500 a minute (Hunter API docs, September 2026). At that pace 1M single lookups take about 33 hours.

Pros

  • API and MCP on every plan, with a recurring free plan of 50 credits a month.
  • Sequences, a browser extension and a Google Sheets add-on on the same plan.
  • Lookups that find nothing are free.

Cons

  • Scale stops at 25,000 credits a month. Volume means the separate Data Platform purchase, API and bulk only.
  • Lookups start from a domain, so list building means paging through domains.
  • One shared credit pool, however many users you add.

Best for: teams that find emails by domain and send from the same tool.

Pricing: Free with 50 credits a month. Starter from $34 a month billed yearly, Scale $209 (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list price on email lookups where a vendor sells that volume. FullEnrich and LeadMagic sell no plan at 1M, so their cells name the top public tier. Findymail's pricing page blocks automated reading, so its cells are not published here. Hunter's cell is its Data Platform price for 1,000,000 Search credits, bought once and valid 12 months. BlitzAPI's price is for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Snov.io is $7,380 at its monthly Ultra rate.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You want a flat-price API from a second vendor: BlitzAPI Plus, if you can live with a docs-only MCP server and LinkedIn URL input.
  • You buy valid emails by the hundred thousand: LeadMagic, with a find-rate above 10%.
  • You need waterfall emails and mobiles: FullEnrich, and budget 10 credits per mobile.
  • You want verified emails with an advertised bounce guarantee: Findymail.
  • You find emails by domain and want sequences in the same tool: Hunter, with the 25,000-credit ceiling in mind.
  • You find under 50,000 emails a month and send from the same app: stay on Snov.io. Pro L is $369 for 50,000 credits.
  • You like Snov.io's sender but not its finder bill: keep Snov.io for sending and pull the list elsewhere. See LeadOcean vs Snov.io.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It has a flat price, emails and phones in one plan, and an MCP server that returns records. BlitzAPI is the flat-price runner-up if you run your own code. LeadMagic wins for cheap valid emails and FullEnrich for waterfall mobiles. Findymail wins for verified emails with a bounce guarantee and Hunter for domain-first finding with sequences. Stay on Snov.io if you send from it and find under 50,000 emails a month. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do teams leave Snov.io?

Shape and volume. The API runs at 60 requests per minute, credits expire every 30 days on monthly plans and phones need separate tokens (Snov.io API docs, September 2026; Snov.io pricing, September 2026). Teams that use Snov.io only as a data source often move to an API with a higher ceiling.

What is the cheapest Snov.io alternative at volume?

At 1M records a month, LeadOcean at $499 flat and BlitzAPI Plus at $499 are cheapest on list price. BlitzAPI's price applies to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. FullEnrich and LeadMagic sell no public plan at 1M, and Findymail's price is not published here. Hunter sells 1,000,000 Search credits for $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months. Snov.io's Ultra rate is lower per credit than LeadMagic's $0.00849, so the alternatives win on API access, not on price.

What does Snov.io cost at 1M records a month?

Snov.io does not publish a price at that volume. Its largest self-serve plan is Ultra at $738 a month for 100,000 credits, so 1M credits is ten plans, or $7,380 a month. Annual billing is 25% lower. Custom plans start at 200,000 credits (Snov.io pricing, September 2026).

Which Snov.io alternative has an MCP server that returns data?

LeadOcean, LeadMagic, FullEnrich, Findymail and Hunter all do. BlitzAPI's server reads documentation only. Snov.io has its own MCP server, available on every plan including Trial, and its actions use your credits (Snov.io MCP, September 2026).

Can I keep Snov.io and use another data source?

Yes. Export the list from LeadOcean and load it into a Snov.io prospect list, by CSV or through the Snov.io API. Your Snov.io credits then go to verification and sending, not to finding. A smaller Snov.io plan is often enough.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
