FullEnrich and Explorium both sell contact data to developers, but they are built for different jobs. FullEnrich asks 25+ sources for each email and mobile. Explorium sells company data, events and contacts from one platform, paid for in prepaid credit packs.
FullEnrich is the better pick for mobiles on a modest volume. Explorium is the better pick for company breadth and signals. Neither publishes a clean price at 1M records a month.
Verdict
- Pick FullEnrich if you want a waterfall for work emails and mobiles on a list of up to a few thousand contacts a month. It states about an 80% work email find rate. It has a free trial with 50 credits and no card, and a miss costs nothing (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
- Pick Explorium if you want company data, event tracking and an MCP server with raw filters, all from one vendor. It claims 146M+ business entities and 767M+ professional profiles (Explorium, October 2026).
- Pick neither if you pull millions of records a month at a fixed bill. FullEnrich stops publishing prices at 100,000 credits, and stacking Explorium packs to 1M comes to five figures at list. LeadOcean is one flat-price option, covered below.
Side by side
| FullEnrich | Explorium | |
|---|---|---|
| Data size | Search covers 800M people and 50M companies, fed by 25+ sources (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026) | Claims 767M+ professional profiles and 146M+ business entities (Explorium, October 2026) |

Data and coverage
The two claim similar people counts and very different company counts. FullEnrich lists 800M people and 50M companies for search. Explorium claims 767M+ professional profiles and 146M+ business entities. So FullEnrich is slightly ahead on people, and Explorium is nearly three times ahead on companies, by each vendor's own number.
FullEnrich's homepage also shows 1.6B contacts. That figure is a customer quote about coverage growth, not a database size (FullEnrich MCP page, September 2026). Do not compare it with Explorium's counts.
The sources work differently. FullEnrich runs a waterfall by default. It queries 25+ providers in sequence until one returns verified data, and verification drops about 30% of raw data (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026). Explorium answers from its own dataset first. Its async contact endpoint can add a waterfall to an external provider, with waterfall: "full", for jobs of up to 10,000 prospects (Explorium docs, October 2026).
Email quality is labelled differently. FullEnrich returns four statuses: deliverable, high probability, catch-all and invalid, and documents bounce rates for the first two (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Explorium returns valid, invalid or catch-all beside each professional email.
Explorium reaches further than contacts. It tracks events such as funding rounds and job changes, and its MCP server returns business and prospect records (Explorium MCP docs, October 2026). FullEnrich is narrower: people and company search, plus enrichment of emails and phones.
Neither publishes a mobile hit rate. Run the same 200 contacts through both before you commit, and compare hits per dollar.
API and developer experience
FullEnrich is one call plus a webhook. Explorium is two calls. FullEnrich takes a name and a domain, or a LinkedIn URL, and returns results later. Explorium first matches a person to a prospect_id, then enriches that ID.
FullEnrich, start a bulk enrichment for work emails. Placeholders stand in for a real person.
curl -X POST "https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"name":"Acme prospects","webhook_url":"https://example.com/webhook","data":[{"first_name":"Jane","last_name":"Doe","domain":"acme.com","enrich_fields":["contact.work_emails"]}]}'The call returns an enrichment id, and results arrive on your webhook. Polling GET /bulk/{enrichment_id} also works, but the docs mark it not recommended (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
Explorium, enrich a matched prospect for email only. The prospect_id comes from POST /v2/prospects/match, which takes up to 50 prospects by LinkedIn URL, email, phone, or name and company.
curl -X POST "https://api.explorium.ai/v2/prospects/contact_information/enrich" \
-H "api_key: $EXPLORIUM_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"prospect_id": "PROSPECT_ID_FROM_MATCH", "parameters": {"contact_types": ["email"]}}'The docs price this body at 2 credits for email only, and 5 credits for phone or both. They do not say what the match step costs (Explorium docs, October 2026).
Rate limits cut both ways. FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute, but each bulk call carries up to 100 contacts, so 6,000 contacts a minute on paper. The default queue is 100 concurrent enrichments (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). A million contacts is about 2.8 hours at that pace.
Explorium counts every row as a query. A request with 50 IDs uses 50 of your 200 queries a minute, and going over returns a 429 with a Retry-After header (Explorium docs, October 2026). One million rows is 5,000 minutes, about 3.5 days, unless Enterprise adds capacity.
On MCP, both are hosted. FullEnrich signs you in through your account and covers search, enrichment and export. Explorium's AgentSource MCP uses an API key. Its fetch tools return full records at 1 credit per result, and its statistics tools are free for sizing an audience (Explorium MCP docs, October 2026).
Pricing
Both bill credits, and both sell different credits for different data. The examples assume every lookup is a hit. Prices are monthly list first, billed-yearly after.
At 10,000 records a month
10,000 work emails
- FullEnrich: 10,000 credits at 1 each is the $499 a month tier ($0.050 a credit). Billed yearly, 120,000 credits a year is $454 a month ($5,448 a year) (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026). At an 80% find rate you spend 8,000 credits, but the next tier down is 5,000, so you still buy the 10,000 tier.
- Explorium: 2 credits each is 20,000 credits. Four Starter packs of 5K at $149.99 give 20,000 credits: 4 x $149.99 = $599.96. Packs are one-off, with no yearly toggle (Explorium pricing, October 2026).
FullEnrich is about $100 cheaper on emails. Explorium's figure is also a floor, because the match step has no published price.
10,000 mobiles
- FullEnrich: 10 credits each is 100,000 credits, the top public tier at $3,500 a month. Billed yearly, 1,200,000 credits a year is $3,150 a month ($37,800 a year).
- Explorium: 5 credits each is 50,000 credits. One Growth pack (30K, $749.99) plus four Starter packs (20K, $599.96) is $1,349.95.
Explorium is far cheaper on phones at list. FullEnrich charges only for mobiles it finds, and its waterfall may find numbers Explorium's own data misses.
At 1M records a month
- FullEnrich: no public 1M price. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, and above that the page says contact sales. We do not multiply that rate out to 1M, because no plan sells it. The yearly toggle lists 1,200,000 credits for $37,800 billed yearly, but FullEnrich does not say whether annual credits arrive upfront or monthly (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026).
- Explorium: no public 1M price, so this is pack arithmetic, not a quote. 1M work emails is 2M credits. The cheapest published pack is Scale, 500K credits at $7,499.99 ($0.015 a credit), so 4 packs x $7,499.99 = $29,999.96 at list. With phone, 1M lookups is 5M credits, 10 packs, $74,999.90 (Explorium pricing, October 2026).
Enterprise is a custom quote with volume discounts, so a negotiated Explorium price could be lower. Packs are one-off and FullEnrich plans are monthly, so the two are not a like-for-like month. At 1M, ask both for a written per-credit rate.
Where FullEnrich wins
FullEnrich is the better pick for mobiles and for a small, high-value list. It runs a waterfall across 25+ sources by default, publishes an 80% work email find rate, and charges nothing for a miss or a landline. Re-enriching the same contact within 3 months costs 0 credits (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
It is also easier to start and to hand to a team. The free trial has 50 credits and no card, and users are unlimited on every plan. Integrations include HubSpot, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay (FullEnrich integrations, September 2026). It is cheaper than Explorium on 10,000 work emails, and unused credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 on annual.
Where Explorium wins
Explorium is the better pick when the job is companies, not just contacts. It claims nearly three times the business entities, tracks events, and covers firmographics, technology usage and financial metrics from the same account (Explorium MCP docs, October 2026). Its 146M+ entities figure is a claim (Explorium, October 2026).
It is also cheaper on phones at list: 5 credits against 10, and a lower per-credit price at the Scale pack. Its MCP server gives an agent raw filters and free statistics tools. FullEnrich has no event stream we found on its pricing page.
If you need volume through an API
We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies, and you reach them over REST and a 12-tool MCP server with OAuth sign-in. Free is 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches and lookups and 100 requests per second per key (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
For bulk work, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request. The app has an Exports page with a CSV download (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). LeadOcean is one dataset, not a waterfall. It is smaller than Explorium on companies and has no event stream or rep workspace. See the FullEnrich alternative page and FullEnrich alternatives.
FAQ
Is FullEnrich or Explorium cheaper?
It depends on the data. For 10,000 work emails, FullEnrich is $499 a month against $599.96 on Explorium. For 10,000 mobiles, Explorium is $1,349.95 against $3,500. At the entry level they are level: FullEnrich Pro starts at $29 for 500 credits, and Explorium Lite is $29.99 for 500 credits.
Do FullEnrich and Explorium both have an MCP server?
Yes. FullEnrich's hosted server covers search, enrichment and export, with OAuth sign-in (FullEnrich help, September 2026). Explorium's AgentSource MCP has 11 tools and uses an API key (Explorium MCP docs, October 2026).
Which has better phone coverage?
Neither publishes a mobile hit rate. FullEnrich waterfalls across 25+ sources by default. Explorium uses its own data first, with an optional external waterfall on async jobs that charges 15 credits per external phone (Explorium docs, October 2026). Test a sample from your target countries on both.
Which handles 1M records a month?
Neither sells it as a public plan. FullEnrich's top public tier is 100,000 credits and then it says contact sales. Stacking Explorium's Scale packs for 1M work emails comes to $29,999.96 at list, and Enterprise is a custom quote.
Can I export a CSV from FullEnrich or Explorium?
FullEnrich offers bulk CSV on every plan, and export through MCP. Explorium async jobs take up to 10,000 records from an uploaded ID list and run for at most 24 hours. So 1M records is at least 100 jobs (Explorium docs, October 2026).
Can I test either one for free?
Yes. FullEnrich gives 50 credits with no card, and Explorium gives 100 credits. LeadOcean Free gives 1,000 records, one-off, with no card, so you can run the same 200 contacts through all three.
