RocketReach is the better buy for a rep who wants to search a database and reveal contacts in one app. FullEnrich is the better buy for filling emails and mobiles into a list you already hold. At 1M records a month neither publishes a price you can order online.
Verdict
- Pick RocketReach if people work leads by hand. It sells seats from $69 a month on monthly billing (reported by G2), with a database you search and look up in the same app (G2, September 2026).
- Pick FullEnrich if you already hold names or LinkedIn URLs and need work emails and mobiles, and you want to pay only for what it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you pull people and company data by API at volume. RocketReach caps lookups per month and FullEnrich stops its price list at 100,000 credits. LeadOcean is one option, covered below.

Data and coverage
RocketReach is a database you search and look up. FullEnrich is a service you send a list to. That difference shapes every row above.
RocketReach's docs claim 700M+ professionals and 60M+ companies (RocketReach docs, September 2026). Its API account page says 35M companies, so the company count is unsettled. It publishes no count of people with an email or a phone. Its FAQ says 87% of lookups return a profile and LinkedIn URLs return data 99% of the time (RocketReach FAQ, September 2026). Both are vendor claims. We did not test them.
FullEnrich lists 800M people and 50M companies for search (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Its homepage also carries a customer quote about going from 200M to 1.6B contacts. That is about coverage inside one product, not a database size.
Email quality is graded differently. RocketReach grades emails A, A-, B and F, and charges only for A and A- (RocketReach FAQ, September 2026). FullEnrich says it removes about 30% of raw data in verification and finds about 80% of work emails (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Those rates are the vendors' own.
Phones are where the designs split. FullEnrich asks 25+ sources in sequence, so a gap in one is a hit in the next, at 10 credits per mobile found. RocketReach charges 6 credits for a phone from one database. Neither publishes a phone count, so run 200 rows of your own list through both before you commit.
API and developer experience
Both tools have a REST API, and both return emails and phones. RocketReach looks up one person with GET /api/v2/person/lookup. FullEnrich starts a bulk job with POST /contact/enrich/bulk. Placeholders below stand in for real people.
RocketReach, look up a person by LinkedIn URL.
curl --request GET \
--url "https://api.rocketreach.co/api/v2/person/lookup?linkedin_url=www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe" \
--header "Api-Key: $ROCKETREACH_API_KEY" \
--header "accept: application/json"The call spends export credits (RocketReach docs, September 2026). A lookup can return a status of progress, so you poll the status endpoint or register a webhook. You also need an API plan, and the docs say to email api@rocketreach.co to get one.
FullEnrich, start a bulk enrichment for one contact. It takes up to 100.
curl --request POST \
--url "https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk" \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
--header "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data '{
"name": "Jane Doe",
"webhook_url": "https://example.com/webhook",
"data": [{
"linkedin_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe",
"enrich_fields": ["contact.work_emails", "contact.phones"]
}]
}'This job is asynchronous too. You get the result on your webhook, or you poll for it (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Passing a LinkedIn URL also returns a full profile. FullEnrich accepts a name with a company domain as well. RocketReach takes a name with a current employer.
Rate limits differ in shape. RocketReach has a global 10 requests per second, then caps by plan. Ultimate allows 100 person lookups a minute and 50,000 a month, and the Custom tier allows 250 a minute and 200,000 a month (RocketReach rate limits, September 2026). Bulk jobs on Essentials, Pro and Ultimate are capped at 100 a day.
FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute, and each bulk call carries up to 100 contacts. That is 6,000 contacts a minute, so the rate limit is not the ceiling. The top price tier is. Over the limit, FullEnrich returns HTTP 429 with the code error.rate.limit (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
On MCP, RocketReach exposes 9 tools, including person_search, person_lookup and email_verify, and its search tools spend no credits (RocketReach MCP docs, September 2026). FullEnrich includes MCP on every plan for search, enrichment and export (FullEnrich MCP page, September 2026). We did not find a published FullEnrich tool count.
Pricing
RocketReach lists Essentials at $69, Pro at $119 and Ultimate at $209 a month on monthly billing, reported by G2 because rocketreach.co/pricing blocks automated reads (G2, September 2026). Those plans give 100, 250 and 1,000 exports a month. The API bills in Universal Credits, with no published dollar price per credit and no published API plan price (RocketReach credits, September 2026).
FullEnrich publishes a slider. Pro runs from 500 credits for $29 a month to 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, then says contact sales. Billed yearly, the same slider runs up to 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Unused credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 on annual ones.
The worked example is work-email lookups only, at monthly list price.
| Volume a month | RocketReach | FullEnrich |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 | App route: 10,000 / 1,000 exports per Ultimate seat = 10 seats. 10 x $209 = $2,090 a month, reported. API route: 10,000 x 2 credits = 20,000 Universal Credits, no dollar price | 10,000 credits at 1 credit each: $499 monthly, $454 a month billed yearly |
| 1,000,000 | No public 1M price. The app route needs 1,000 Ultimate seats of exports. The API route needs 2,000,000 credits and has no dollar price | No public 1M price. 1,000,000 credits is 10 times the top public tier of 100,000 credits ($3,500 a month) |
At 10,000 a month FullEnrich is cheaper for work emails, about a quarter of the seat route on monthly list prices. The seat figure is arithmetic on a reported price, not a quote. API pricing needs a conversation with RocketReach.
Neither tool sells a month of 1M lookups online, so we show no dollar figure. We do not multiply a per-credit or per-seat rate out to 1M, because neither vendor sells that volume at that rate. Quantities show the gap. The highest published RocketReach person-lookup cap is 200,000 a month, which makes 1M a five-month job on the Custom tier (RocketReach rate limits, September 2026).
Your real cost sits below list in both tools. RocketReach charges no credit when no data is found or the email grade is B or F (RocketReach FAQ, September 2026). FullEnrich charges nothing for a miss or a landline. Add phones and the gap changes: 10,000 mobiles are 100,000 FullEnrich credits against 60,000 RocketReach credits.
Where RocketReach wins
- A database you search. Reps find people by title, employer and location before they spend a lookup.
- Cheaper for one person. $69 to $209 a month on monthly billing is below FullEnrich's $499 for 10,000 credits, if you need a few hundred contacts.
- A credit-free repeat lookup. Re-looking up the same profile is free while the plan is active (RocketReach FAQ, September 2026).
- A standalone email verify endpoint, at 300 calls a minute on every plan (RocketReach rate limits, September 2026).
- A cheaper phone, at 6 credits against 10.
Where FullEnrich wins
- Mobile coverage on paper. A waterfall over 25+ sources finds numbers one database misses.
- A published price up to 100,000 credits a month. RocketReach publishes none for its API.
- API, MCP and bulk CSV on every plan, with unlimited users, from the free trial up.
- No seat stacking. Credits carry volume, and they roll over.
- A bigger search index on paper, at 800M people against RocketReach's 700M+ claim.
If you need volume through an API
LeadOcean is the data layer only: 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP. Pro is $499 a month flat with no credits and no per-record price, and Free gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. The limit is 100 requests per second per key, and POST /v1/exports takes up to 50,000 rows per request. LeadOcean has no Chrome extension, sequencer, dialer or CRM, so it replaces neither tool for reps. See pricing.
FAQ
Which is cheaper, RocketReach or FullEnrich?
For 10,000 work emails a month, FullEnrich: $499 against about $2,090 on RocketReach seats at monthly list prices (reported). For one rep with a few hundred lookups, RocketReach's $69 plan is cheaper. Neither has a 1M price.
Does RocketReach have an API on a self-serve plan?
Yes, with a setup step. The docs list API limits for Essentials, Pro, Ultimate and Custom, and say to email api@rocketreach.co to set up an API plan (RocketReach rate limits, September 2026). FullEnrich has the API on every plan, including the free trial.
Which has better phone coverage?
Neither publishes a phone count. FullEnrich asks 25+ sources for a mobile and charges 10 credits per number found. RocketReach charges 6 credits for a phone from one database. Test 200 of your own rows in both.
Do RocketReach and FullEnrich both have MCP servers?
Yes. RocketReach's is at mcp.rocketreach.co/mcp, with OAuth 2.1 and 9 tools. FullEnrich includes MCP on every plan, covering search, enrichment and export.
Can I use both?
Yes. Search and look up your core audience in RocketReach, export the rows with no mobile, and send their LinkedIn URLs to FullEnrich. You pay FullEnrich's 10 credits only where it finds a number.
Is there an alternative to both for API volume?
LeadOcean, if you want one dataset at a flat $499 a month over REST and MCP with no per-record bill. It is the wrong choice if reps need an extension or CRM sync.
