Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) vs Kaspr (2026): Data, Pricing and API Compared

One is HubSpot enrichment that fills records inside a CRM. The other is a LinkedIn contact finder priced per seat and credit. Here is which buyer should pick which.

Clearbit is now HubSpot enrichment. Kaspr is a LinkedIn contact finder sold per user, with credits on top. Clearbit fits teams that already run HubSpot. Kaspr fits reps who find phone numbers one profile at a time in a browser.

All prices and limits below were checked in September and October 2026, each with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.

Verdict

  • Pick Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) if your contacts and companies already live in HubSpot and you want records to fill themselves. You buy the HubSpot plan, not a data API. New Clearbit sign-ups need a HubSpot account.
  • Pick Kaspr if your reps prospect on LinkedIn and want a Chrome extension, Sales Navigator support and phone numbers, mostly in Europe. Its API is a side feature, on request and capped per day.
  • Pick neither if you want volume through an API, with search, an MCP server and CSV export on one flat plan. Clearbit's docs sit behind a sign-in and Kaspr lists no MCP server. LeadOcean is one option.

Data and coverage

Neither tool publishes a number you can hold it to. Clearbit's homepage describes its data in terms of precision, not size. It lists NAICS, GICS and SIC industry codes, parent and subsidiary mapping, and normalised role and seniority (Clearbit, September 2026).

Kaspr leads with reach. Its homepage claims 200m+ profiles and 500m+ phone numbers and emails. Its data page claims 200 million European B2B decision-makers (Kaspr homepage, September 2026; Kaspr data page, September 2026). These are claims. The units differ, so the totals do not compare like for like.

The shape of the data differs more than the size. Clearbit enriches records you already hold. HubSpot needs a name and a work email for a contact, or a domain for a company (HubSpot docs, September 2026). It does not search for new people.

Kaspr starts from a LinkedIn profile and returns emails and phone numbers for that person. It is a contact finder, not a firmographic feed. Its public API docs list no company or search endpoint (Kaspr API docs, October 2026).

So the real split is firmographics against phones. Clearbit gives company and role data inside your CRM. Kaspr gives you a number to call. Run your own 500 records through each before you buy. Kaspr's free plan has no API, so test it in the extension.

API and developer experience

Clearbit's API is hard to judge, because you cannot read it. The docs redirect to a sign-in page, so you cannot check the endpoints before you commit (Clearbit docs, September 2026). Whether a new customer can get the Enrichment API, and at what rate, is not published.

Clearbit has no public request to show, because its docs sit behind a sign-in. Most HubSpot users never call it. A Super Admin switches on data enrichment in settings, and new records fill themselves (HubSpot docs, September 2026).

Kaspr's API enriches one profile from its LinkedIn ID. The help center example posts name and id to /profile/linkedin. Each call spends one credit for the data type fetched, plus one export credit (Kaspr help center, September 2026). The API reference puts the key in a Bearer authorization header (Kaspr API docs, October 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.developers.kaspr.io/profile/linkedin" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $KASPR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"name":"Jane Doe","id":"jane-doe"}'

The API does not accept Sales Navigator URLs. Kaspr's docs also say it enforces limits per minute for each workspace, and a key is blocked past them (Kaspr API docs, October 2026). The plan table caps requests at 250 a day on Starter and 500 a day on Business.

For agents, neither helps much. HubSpot has a remote MCP server for CRM records such as contacts and deals (HubSpot MCP docs, October 2026). We found none for data enrichment. Kaspr lists no MCP server. Absence on those pages is not proof, so ask each vendor if it matters.

Pricing

Clearbit charges for the HubSpot plan, whatever you enrich. Kaspr charges per user, then per credit. To compare them, price the same job on both.

At 10,000 records a month. Clearbit enrichment does not consume HubSpot Credits, so the cost is the plan that lets you switch it on (HubSpot docs, September 2026). A HubSpot Starter seat is $10 a month, or $7 a month billed yearly, on a new-customer offer (HubSpot Starter, October 2026). Higher hubs cost more, and HubSpot's pricing page is localised by region.

Bulk enrichment from an index page takes 100 records at a time, so 10,000 is 100 batches or a workflow (HubSpot docs, September 2026).

On Kaspr, work emails are unlimited on paid plans, but each API call also spends one export credit. Starter allows 250 requests a day, about 7,500 a month, so Starter cannot do 10,000. Business allows 500 a day, about 15,000 a month, so 10,000 fits.

The Business seat is $99 a month. Its 30,000 exports a year are 2,500 a month, short of 10,000 calls. Kaspr sells export add-ons, 10,000 credits for $308 on the monthly plan, but does not say whether they raise the plan's export limit (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Ask Kaspr before you budget 10,000 a month.

Phones cost more. 10,000 phone credits at the top monthly pack is $2,060, a tenth of the $20,600 yearly pack of 100,000. Business includes 200 phone credits a month. Clearbit lists no phone coverage to price.

At 1M records a month. Neither vendor has a public price. Clearbit's docs list bulk enrichment from an index page, a segment, an import or a workflow, and publish no monthly volume limit (HubSpot docs, October 2026). Ask HubSpot sales for the ceiling before you plan a run that size.

Kaspr's highest public tier is Business, with 30,000 exports a year and 500 API requests a day. At 500 a day, 1,000,000 requests take 2,000 days. The largest add-on pack is 100,000 export credits for $3,080 on the yearly plan. Enterprise is custom, with no published price (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

Prices change and vary by currency. Kaspr's page opens in euros, and annual figures of $49 and $79 sit in its page markup but are not shown as purchasable.

Where Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins

  • Enrichment inside HubSpot. Automatic enrichment fills new records with no code, and continuous enrichment keeps them current (HubSpot docs, September 2026).
  • Standardised company data. Six-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes, plus corporate hierarchy (Clearbit, September 2026).
  • Forms and visitor intent. Shorter forms that fill in from an email, and company-level visitor identification by IP (Clearbit, September 2026).
  • No per-credit bill for enrichment. The cost is the plan, not a meter.

Clearbit's weak points are the HubSpot account you must buy first, API docs behind a login and no published coverage, rate limit or phone data.

Where Kaspr wins

  • The LinkedIn workflow. A rep opens a profile, clicks once and gets a number. It also runs on Sales Navigator on Starter and Recruiter Lite on Business (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).
  • Phones. Phone credits on every plan, and a pitch that leads with accurate numbers.
  • European reach. Kaspr claims 200 million European B2B decision-makers (Kaspr data page, September 2026).
  • Small teams. A free plan with 15 B2B email and 5 phone credits a month, and credits that roll over on paid plans.

Kaspr's weak points are the seat-plus-credit bill, an API on request and a daily request cap that rules out bulk work.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. It has a free plan with 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no seats, credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. The same REST API and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, or you can use the Exports page in the app. 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). LeadOcean has no CRM, no Chrome extension and no visitor identification, so a HubSpot team keeps Clearbit and a LinkedIn team keeps Kaspr. See pricing for the detail.

FAQ

Is Clearbit still a separate product?

Partly. Clearbit is now part of HubSpot, and new sign-ups need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). HubSpot's documentation calls the feature data enrichment and lists it inside its hubs.

Does Kaspr have an API?

Yes, but access is on request from the Starter plan up, and it is not on Free. Starter allows 250 requests a day and Business 500 (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). It starts from a LinkedIn profile URL.

Does either tool have an MCP server?

Neither has one for data that we could find. HubSpot has an MCP server for CRM records (HubSpot MCP docs, October 2026). Kaspr lists none on its pricing, API or help pages.

Which is cheaper at 10,000 records a month?

It depends on what you already pay. If you run HubSpot, Clearbit enrichment adds no credit charge. On Kaspr, 10,000 work emails by API needs the $99 Business seat plus export add-ons, and Kaspr does not say whether add-ons lift the 30,000 a year export limit. 10,000 phone credits add $2,060.

Which has better phone coverage?

Kaspr, by default. It sells phone credits on every plan and leads with phone numbers, though it publishes no count. Clearbit and HubSpot's enrichment docs state no phone coverage (HubSpot docs, September 2026).

Can either do a bulk CSV export?

Kaspr can, within limits: 12,000 exports a year on Starter, 30,000 on Business, and CSV files of 500 or 1,000 rows (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Clearbit has no export. It enriches up to 100 records at a time from a HubSpot index page.
