Coresignal and Findymail solve different problems. Coresignal sells large professional datasets on credits. Findymail finds one verified email at a time and charges one credit per hit. Pick by what you need to pull, not by price alone.
Verdict
- Pick Coresignal if you need raw profile volume, company data, job postings or flat-file datasets. It lists 907M+ employee records, 70M+ companies and 482M+ job postings (Coresignal, September 2026).
- Pick Findymail if you need verified work emails for a sequencer, at modest volume, from a name and a domain. A lookup that finds no verified email costs nothing (Findymail API docs, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you need email and phone on the same person at a million records a month and a bill that does not scale with volume. Coresignal has no phone field and no public 1M price. Findymail's phones cost 10 credits each. LeadOcean is built for that case, covered below.

Data and coverage
Coresignal is a data vendor. Findymail is a lookup service. That is the biggest difference between them.
Coresignal sells employee, company and job records. Its multi-source employee records carry a professional email with one of four statuses: verified, matched_email, matched_pattern or guessed_common_pattern (Coresignal data dictionary, September 2026). Its Base Employee pages list no email field, and neither dictionary lists a phone field. The MCP server excludes EEA and UK employees from email lookups (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026).
Findymail does not publish a record count. It resolves an email when you ask and returns it only if it verifies. You give it a name and a company domain, a profile URL or a role at a company.
Findymail also has a phone finder, a reverse email lookup and Intellimatch, a plain-language company search that returns up to 5,000 companies (Findymail docs, September 2026). Its footer lists a Chrome extension and intent signals (Findymail API page, September 2026).
API and developer experience
Coresignal is search-then-collect. Findymail is one call per answer. Search on Coresignal is free and returns IDs, and you pay when you collect a record (Coresignal docs, September 2026). A collect of a multi-source employee costs 20 credits.
curl -X GET \
"https://api.coresignal.com/cdapi/v2/employee_multi_source/collect/jane-doe" \
-H "accept: application/json" \
-H "apikey: $CORESIGNAL_API_KEY"Findymail's email finder takes a name and a domain and returns a contact. It uses one finder credit if a verified email is found (Findymail docs, September 2026).
curl -X POST "https://app.findymail.com/api/search/name" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $FINDYMAIL_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"name":"Jane Doe","domain":"acme.com"}'On limits, Coresignal ties speed to the plan. It is 5 requests a second up to Starter, 10 on Pro, 20 on Growth, 50 on Premium and 100 on Scale (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Findymail allows 300 simultaneous requests on all endpoints unless stated otherwise. Its domain search allows 5 concurrent requests and business-profile search 30 (Findymail docs, September 2026).
Both ship an MCP server. Coresignal's has 5 tools. entity_search costs 20 credits a call and email_enrich costs 20 credits per email found (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). Findymail's has 14 tools, and lookups that find nothing are free (Findymail Cursor plugin, September 2026).
Pricing
Coresignal has public plans up to $5,000 a month. Findymail's pricing page blocked our automated read, so this page gives no Findymail dollar figures. The arithmetic below shows credits for both, and dollars for Coresignal.
Coresignal's monthly list prices are Mini $49 (2,500 credits), Starter $199 (12,000), Pro $499 (35,000), Growth $1,000 (150,000), Premium $1,500 (1,000,000), Scale $3,000 (4,000,000) and Elite $5,000 (10,000,000). Billed yearly is 10% off, so Growth is $900 a month and Premium $1,350 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). A base record costs 10 credits. A multi-source record or a work-email lookup costs 20, and the Contact Enrichment API is included from Pro upward (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
At 10,000 records a month
- Coresignal, work-email lookups: 10,000 x 20 = 200,000 credits. Growth holds 150,000, so you need Premium at $1,500 a month ($1,350 billed yearly).
- Coresignal, base records: 10,000 x 10 = 100,000 credits. Growth fits at $1,000 a month ($900 billed yearly). Base records list no email.
- Findymail, emails: 10,000 finder credits if every lookup hits, fewer if some miss. Match that to a plan on Findymail's pricing page.
- Findymail, phones: 10,000 x 10 = 100,000 credits.
At 1M records a month
- Coresignal, work-email lookups: 1,000,000 x 20 = 20,000,000 credits. No public plan reaches that, so there is No public 1M price. Elite is the largest public tier at $5,000 a month for 10,000,000 credits, which covers 500,000 lookups. Above that, ask Coresignal for a quote.
- Coresignal, base records: 1,000,000 x 10 = 10,000,000 credits, one Elite month at $5,000 ($4,500 billed yearly). Base records list no email.
- Findymail, emails: 1,000,000 finder credits. We do not multiply a small plan's rate out to 1M, so ask Findymail for a quote.
- Findymail, phones: 1,000,000 x 10 = 10,000,000 credits.
The free tiers differ too. Coresignal's trial gives 2,000 credits for 7 days, one per company email domain, which is 100 multi-source records (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Findymail advertises a free API key with no card (Findymail API page, September 2026).
Where Coresignal wins
- Dataset size and type. It sells company records, 482M+ job postings and flat-file datasets from $1,000 a month (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Findymail has none of that.
- Free search. Search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL costs no credits, so you can size a segment before you pay.
- Speed on big plans. Scale allows 100 requests a second and Elite 100+, with a 3-month credit rollover on Premium, Scale and Elite (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
- Bulk delivery. Bulk Collect returns up to 10,000 records per request, asynchronously.
Where Findymail wins
- Verified emails at the point of lookup. It returns an email only if it verifies, and a miss costs nothing (Findymail docs, September 2026). Coresignal's multi-source records include guessed patterns.
- A phone finder. Coresignal lists no phone field. Findymail sells numbers at 10 credits each, outside the EU.
- Name and domain in, email out. One request, one credit, one answer. No search-then-collect job.
- Simple per-hit pricing. You pay one credit per verified email found, so the cost tracks your hit rate. Coresignal bills 20 credits for each work-email lookup.
If you need volume through an API
LeadOcean fits when you pull email and phone at volume and want a fixed bill. Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and no per-record price, and it covers 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP. POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, and GET /v2/people/phone reaches 166M people with a phone. LeadOcean has no job postings, no sequencer and no Chrome extension, so pair it with your own sending tool. See pricing.
