LeadMagic and Wiza both sell verified emails and phone numbers, but to different buyers. LeadMagic is an API and MCP product you pay for by the credit. Wiza is a LinkedIn prospecting tool you pay for by the seat. Neither publishes a price at 1M records.
Verdict
- Pick LeadMagic if you call an API or an agent, want a plan ladder you can read up to 100,000 credits a month, and want to pay only for valid emails (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).
- Pick Wiza if one rep or a small team prospects from LinkedIn, wants a Chrome extension, and wants contact data checked at the moment of the request. One seat is cheap (Wiza homepage, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you pull whole people and company records by API at volume and want one fixed bill. Both tools meter, and neither sells 1M a month off the page. LeadOcean is one option, covered below.

Data and coverage
Wiza states the bigger dataset. Its homepage says 850M+ contacts and gives no split by email, phone or company (Wiza, September 2026). LeadMagic says 400M+ profiles, 25M+ companies and 46M+ job posts (LeadMagic, September 2026). The two numbers do not count the same thing, so do not subtract one from the other.
The bigger difference is how each treats freshness. Wiza says it verifies contact data "the moment you request it" and checks it against live sources. It also states 99%+ deliverability and charges only for valid emails (Wiza, September 2026). Those are vendor claims. LeadMagic also validates every email it finds before it bills a credit (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).
LeadMagic adds data Wiza does not publish. It sells job post data, a job change check at 3 credits, company search and people search by title, function, seniority and geography (LeadMagic, September 2026). If hiring is your trigger, that matters.
Wiza adds the LinkedIn workflow. It builds lists from Sales Navigator, Recruiter or a CSV, and it ships a Chrome extension (Wiza help, September 2026; Wiza). LeadMagic has no extension. It takes a name plus a domain, a company name or a profile URL.
Neither tool publishes a find rate or a phone count. Run 500 of your own contacts through both and compare the hits and the bounces. That test costs less than reading another comparison.
API and developer experience
Both tools have a REST API and a bearer-style key. LeadMagic is one synchronous call. Wiza is two calls: start a reveal, then read the result. Placeholders below stand in for real people.
LeadMagic, find a work email by name and domain.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadmagic.io/v1/people/email-finder" \
-H "X-API-Key: $LEADMAGIC_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"first_name":"Jane","last_name":"Doe","domain":"acme.com"}'The call costs 1 credit for a valid email and nothing when no email is found (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). The key works on every plan, with no sales step.
Wiza, start an individual reveal by name, company and domain.
curl -X POST "https://wiza.co/api/individual_reveals" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $WIZA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"individual_reveal":{"full_name":"Jane Doe","company":"Acme","domain":"acme.com"},"enrichment_level":"partial"}'The response is a queued job with an id. You read the result with GET /api/individual_reveals/{id} or wait for a webhook (Wiza docs, September 2026). Before you can call it, support must enable API access on the account (Wiza help, September 2026).
Rate limits read differently. LeadMagic caps Email Finder at 600 requests a minute, so 1M lookups take about 28 hours at the cap (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Wiza limits concurrency, not rate: 5 requests in flight on Starter API and 15+ on Enterprise API (Wiza docs, September 2026). Its help center words the same limit as 15 requests a second. Plan around the lower docs figure.
On MCP, both ship a hosted server. LeadMagic states 130+ tools and takes OAuth only, with no static key (LeadMagic MCP, October 2026). Its docs tool reference says "dozens" and gives no count. Wiza has 5 tools, including enrich_contact and search_prospects, and accepts OAuth or a bearer token (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026).
Pricing
LeadMagic sells a monthly plan with one shared credit pool. Wiza sells a seat, plus credits for API use. Figures use the monthly list price first, then the billed-yearly price. USD, September 2026.
At 10,000 valid emails a month
Assume every lookup finds a valid email. LeadMagic charges nothing on a miss, and Wiza charges only for valid emails, so you pay for finds.
- LeadMagic: 10,000 credits at 1 credit per email. Essential has 5,000, so you need Growth: 20,000 credits for $249 a month, or $208 a month billed yearly ($2,490 a year) (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).
- Wiza, monthly: the Email plan is $99 a seat and includes 500 valid emails. Extra emails cost $0.15 each. So $99 + (9,500 x $0.15) = $99 + $1,425 = $1,524 a month for one seat (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
- Wiza, yearly: the Email plan is $83 a seat a month with unlimited email reveals. List exports are capped at 2,500 a month, and each person in a list uses 1 export credit (Wiza help, September 2026). Ten thousand contacts is 4 seats: 4 x $83 = $332 a month.
That $332 is not a price you can buy. Wiza puts teams of 3 or more users on custom Team pricing (Wiza pricing, September 2026). Through the API, a valid email costs 2 credits, so 10,000 emails is 20,000 credits, and the dollar price per credit is not public.
At 10,000 mobile numbers a month
- LeadMagic: 10,000 x 5 credits = 50,000 credits. That is Professional: $499 a month, or $416 billed yearly (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).
- Wiza, monthly: Email + Phone is $199 a seat with 500 emails and 500 phones. Extras are $0.15 an email and $0.35 a phone. So $199 + $1,425 + (9,500 x $0.35 = $3,325) = $4,949 a month for 10,000 of each (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
At 1M records a month
- LeadMagic: No public 1M price. The top self-serve plan is Ultimate at $849 a month for 100,000 credits, a tenth of 1M. Top-up prices and Enterprise credit rates are not published. Enterprise starts at $2,490 a quarter, paid upfront (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).
- Wiza: No public 1M price. Its API page says "Book a call to discuss API pricing" (Wiza API page, September 2026). API credits come from a slider in the app or an enterprise deal, and they expire after 12 months (Wiza docs, September 2026).
We do not multiply either entry rate out to 1M, because neither vendor sells 1M at that rate. Ask both for a quote at your volume.
Two caveats on LeadMagic. Credits roll over on monthly plans only, up to 2x the allocation, and annual plans do not roll over (LeadMagic pricing explained, September 2026). Its pricing page still prints "Credits roll over" on the annual view, so ask before you rely on it.
| Records a month | LeadMagic | Wiza |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 emails | $249 a month (Growth), $208 billed yearly | $1,524 on one monthly seat, or 4 yearly seats at $332 if Team pricing allowed it |
| 10,000 mobiles | $499 a month (Professional), $416 billed yearly | $4,949 on one monthly Email + Phone seat |
| 1M | No public 1M price | No public 1M price |
Where LeadMagic wins
- A readable plan ladder. Four self-serve plans from $99 to $849 a month, with every price on the page. Wiza's API price sits behind a call.
- An open API. The key works on every plan, with no support ticket to enable it.
- Cheaper at volume. At 10,000 emails a month it is $249 against $1,524 on a monthly Wiza seat.
- Cheaper phones. 5 credits is $0.06 on Growth ($0.01245 x 5), against $0.35 on a monthly Wiza plan.
- More data types. Job posts, job change checks and company search.
- A larger MCP surface. 130+ stated tools against 5.
Where Wiza wins
- A bigger stated dataset. 850M+ contacts against 400M+ profiles, though the counts are not like for like.
- Live verification. Contact data is checked against live sources at the moment of the request (Wiza, September 2026).
- LinkedIn workflow. A Chrome extension and lists from Sales Navigator and Recruiter. LeadMagic has neither.
- Cheapest single seat. Starter is $49 a month, and Wiza has a free plan with 20 valid emails and 5 phones. LeadMagic has no free plan (LeadMagic help, September 2026).
- Unlimited reveals on annual plans. One rep can reveal as many emails as they need for $83 a month.
If you need volume through an API
Both tools meter, and neither publishes a 1M price. LeadOcean is a people and company data API with an MCP server. The Free plan gives 1,000 records one-off with no card, and Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and no per-record price. Both plans get REST and a 12-tool MCP server, at 100 requests per second per key. POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It has no Chrome extension and no job-post data. Read LeadMagic alternatives, the LeadMagic alternative page and pricing.
FAQ
Is LeadMagic or Wiza better for finding emails?
LeadMagic is better if you call an API or an agent and want a published price. Wiza is better if a rep works inside LinkedIn and wants a live check. Both bill only for valid emails.
Which is cheaper, LeadMagic or Wiza?
Wiza is cheaper for one person: Starter is $49 a month, and LeadMagic starts at $99. LeadMagic is cheaper at volume. At 10,000 emails a month it is $249, against $1,524 on one monthly Wiza seat (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026; Wiza pricing, September 2026).
Do LeadMagic and Wiza have an API and an MCP server?
Yes, both. LeadMagic's REST API is at api.leadmagic.io and works on every plan. Wiza's API is at wiza.co/api and support enables it. Wiza's MCP server needs API access and credits (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026).
Which has phone numbers?
Both. LeadMagic charges 5 credits per valid mobile. Wiza charges 5 API credits per phone returned, or $0.35 each beyond a monthly plan's allowance. Neither publishes a phone count, so test a sample first.
What does each cost at 1M records?
Neither publishes a price. LeadMagic's top self-serve plan is 100,000 credits a month, and Enterprise is custom. Wiza's API pricing is a sales call (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026; Wiza API page, September 2026).
Does Wiza need LinkedIn?
Its workflow is built around LinkedIn lists and a Chrome extension. The API also takes a name plus a company or domain, so a profile URL is not required (Wiza docs, September 2026).
